Monday

I've just finished watching the vipassana video. It would be hard going to do a course like that. Just sitting quietly doing nothing for ten days. Interesting that they didn't get any instructions till they'd been doing it for three days, apart from being told to follow the breath. Whenever I've been down at the Samye Ling for a week or so, I've noticed that the first three days are the most difficult. After that, it gets a whole lot easier. In fact, you just really want to sit.

The lady in charge of the jail was brilliant. Just one of those irrepressible, wonderful people.

chico caliemte,
glad you liked it, i loved that woman, her wee face and her fantastic enthusiasm and the way she made the jailers go first...yea totally inspiring....and they do it in schools too, there´s another documentary of just that on the same site, it´s where i found the scientisrt getting the bliss video too.
all sounds well in jockoland, saw the barca last 15 mins in a bar full of real madrid supporters hexing the nemesis rather succesfully oh well, such is football....or "non football, which is also football!" as the spanish commentator described the inter defensive game
thought of you in the incredible Gran Teatro de Cordoba on Sat. night watching a 2 hour play about Urtain, a spanish 70s boxer who came to a tragic end, as they do?

Spango Yogini! So there's one about schools?! I'll check that out. They should so definitely teach kids to meditate. If I win the election here, I'll definitely enact that after shooting most of the teachers! Hotboy p.s. Getting punched in the head didn't do me any harm, apart from the twitch and the stutter, of course!
