Today's photies!

Monday 8:00 p.m.
Two photies taken in the Botanics and two from the hut.

The whatever opened further tonight about seven. Whao! But I've had enough of this hibernating meditating malarkey and I went out for four beers. Back to the jobbie tomorrow. Dearie me!

Oh, and the other photie is of the Kalacharka Mandala. I try to visualise that several times a day. Is it impossible?

It will be a challenge to get all that detail into your head. My practice is about building a temple. It is very slow.

Beautiful pictures. Despite the sn*w. We have that this morning.

I say!

What lovely snaps you take. Was there any heat in the sun, or was it all inner heat?

Marie! I haven't got anywhere near visualising that thing!
Mingin'! When the sun comes out here, you need to get the shades and sun blocker on tout suite! Hotboy

Marie! They used a mnemonic (?) trick in the middle ages which allowed messengers to memorise documents. This involved attaching sentences, I think, to part of the cathedral structure. Don't really know how that helps. Hotboy

I think a document would be easier. Words don't have so much in the way of shades of color and shape. Just content.

The temple building I'm working on is very complicated. I expect I'll work the rest of my life and I might get half the first step built. Good focus for concentration.

Marie! Where did you get the temple idea from?In deity yoga you're supposed to be envisaging a deity's palace. I've never had direct instructions on this, so I'm sticking to a two dimensional image, but it should be a palace, I think. Temple, palace? Are we talking about the same thing? Hotboy

This is unfair! Photies 2 and 3are unreal. What kind of trickery are you using? They look like Constables or something. I've got a proper camera and I couldn't do these. The world's all wrong so it is.

I got it from one of my books. With pretty detailed instructions.

The Practice of White Tara. The Wish-Fulfilling Wheel. Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche

You start with a crossed vajra. It is very complicated and I am a long way from having it down. But it is a good focus for my practice.

Albert? If you live in a nice place like Scotland, you just point your phone. You don't even look into it or anything.
Marie! That sounds a bit like deity yoga to me. I'll have to remember to check that out. I've had a Green Tara empowerment. Hotboy
